Associate Degree D-2-1
A person who plans to enroll for a associate degree in a college, undergraduate/graduate college established in accordance with Higher Education Act, or a college established in accordance with the Special Act
Bachelor's Degree D-2-2
A person who plans to enroll for a bachelor's degree in a college, undergraduate/graduate college established in accordance with Higher Education Act, or a college established in accordance with the Special Act
Master's Degree D-2-3
A person who plans to enroll for a master's degree in a college, undergraduate/graduate college established in accordance with Higher Education Act, or a college established in accordance with the Special Act
Doctoral Degree D-2-4
A person who plans to enroll for a doctoral degree in a college, undergraduate/graduate college established in accordance with Higher Education Act, or a college established in accordance with the Special Act
Korean Language Trainee D-4-1
A person with at least high school diploma or the equivalent, who plans to study Korean language at a language institution affiliated with a foreign education institution in the ROK or at a higher education institution established in accordance with the Higher Education Act
※ Korean language trainee - Student visas can only be issued at university-affiliated Korean language institutes.
